Trails for everyone, towards the turquoise lakes of the Grandes Rousses and Taillefer.
The Taillefer Lakes Plateau offers a dozen high-altitude lakes — including Lac Fourchu — in an alpine tundra landscape classified Natura 2000: one of the most prized hikes in the Oisans. On the Alpe d'Huez domain, Lac Besson, Lac Noir and Lac Faucille lie above 2,000 m.
From a gentle family loop to a mountain run, everyone finds their path. The shortest loop to the plateau is 4.8 km (2h30, 822 m of climbing); June and October are the finest times.
