Summer
The high country, wide open
When the snow melts, Oz and Alpe d'Huez become a vast playground: mountain biking, road cycling, hiking, lakes and whitewater.
A summer season to (re)discover
Too often reduced to skiing, the mountains reveal an equally spectacular — and far more peaceful — face in summer. The lifts reopen for bikers and hikers, while legendary climbs draw cyclists from around the world.
From the chalet, it's easy to reach the summits, high-altitude lakes and rivers of the Oisans.
