Climbing the 21 hairpins of Alpe d'Huez: a cyclist's dream, on your doorstep.
The Oisans is a land of legendary cycling. The Alpe d'Huez climb — about 13.8 km, 21 numbered bends, finishing at 1,860 m — is the most famous ascent in the Alps, the finale of many Tour de France stages.
All around, the neighbouring Croix de Fer (2,067 m) and Glandon (1,924 m) passes complete an exceptional playground that draws cyclists from across the world. The chalet, large and well located, is a perfect base for a group.
